Developmental Therapist

Courtney graduated from East Carolina University with a BS in Child Life. This degree provided a concentration in child development, child psychology, child and family assessment, play therapy, and medical terminology. She began working as a child life specialist in the pediatric intensive care unit where she gained a wealth on knowledge working with children with special healthcare needs and who are medically fragile. In addition to working as a Developmental Therapist Courtney is also providing care coordination to children and their families in Eastern NC to link community resources and be an advocate for family centered care. Her professional interests are medically fragile, down syndrome, and behavioral management. She looks forward to working with each family, and is able to serve kids in the following counties: Pitt, Beaufort, Greene, Martin.
