Maryellen Yoder, M.Ed., ITFS-P
Developmental Therapist
Maryellen graduated with a BA in Sociology and Education from West Virginia Wesleyan College in 2000. After receiving her degree she moved to North Carolina and taught preschool for eight years in a variety of centers giving her experience in both self-contained and inclusive classroom philosophies. Maryellen obtained her Birth-Kindergarten license in 2006 and completed her Masters of Education in Early Childhood Intervention and Family Support at UNC-Chapel Hill in 2008. She began her career as a developmental therapist in 2008. After two years of being a stay-at-home mother she returned to her therapist role in 2011. Maryellen believes that family plays a key role in the success and development of young children and is looking forward to working with each child and family.
